Let’s Review, shall we?

A little look at what we’ve been up to.  You remember the water situation, right? With the floors and all.. yep. Nothing has happened. Still looks exactly the same with no forward progress. Delay of game.. wait. I’ve been watching WAY too much football.  Moving on… James made Cade’s birthday so fun! He made an Amazing Race game for the boys.. it was awesome.

One team member had to build an exact replica of James’ creation… without touching it. All the while, the other 2 team members had to count the number of legos in a separate bag.  It was tricky. He’s so good at coming up with the clues!

Then he took them all out for donuts the next morning. Such an awesome dad- our kids are so blessed.

We really miss grandma 🙁  Not sure what happened in this photo that’s making them laugh so hard, but I’m pretty sure it has something to do with bodily functions & noises 🙂

We made some YUMMY cookies with Andes mints this year. Below you see James cracking an egg on Kennedy’s head 🙂  Then they all wanted him to do it!

Suckered er.. talked James into giving me an early present (or 2 or 3). My new Williams Sonoma mixing bowls and cookie sheets. I always thought I was really BAD at baking cookies, but it turns out it was my cookie sheet!
Every year our Bible Study (oops! “Life Group”) does a book exchange for the kids. They love it & I love that we get new fun books to read! Cade got the Mouse and the Motorcycle. He was really excited!

We had a little visit from Santa. 🙂

I made a little wreath (Thank you for the link Dena & Cari!)

The kids got new pjs from Aunt Abby and Uncle Mike- Thank you!!! We LOVE them.  Every year we let them open their new pjs and one board game (present) on Christmas Eve (A tradition we learned from the Gardners). They opened the game of Life this year and we all played. I  had never played before- it was awesome.

Somebody found a lollipop 🙂

Their cousin, Heidi, made them all pillows- so cute!! We love them Heidi!!! She made me a blue & brown one- it’s beautiful.

It snowed a little… well, a LOT actually for Southern California.

I snapped this one today. I just couldn’t resist. James bought him this little t-shirt for his stocking. I love it on him.

And..my friend Christine thinks maybe all the owl outfits I put on Chloe might have a little something to do with her lack of sleep?  Have I created a “night owl” just by dressing her as one?

Wow! That was a lot of information. Sorry about the lull. Time to get back to the normal schedule now, I guess.  Vacation’s over.
