Where We’ve Been.

I’m in the middle of my busiest season so I been a little absent lately. Besides photo sessions & proofing, here’s a little bit of what we’ve been up to…

We re-created the Solar System to the best of our ability. The kids created mnemonic phrases to help them remember the order of the planets. It was fun.

There’s a battle-axe in the background, too. We’ve been studying the barbarians in history. I think learning is fun 🙂 I’m a nerd.

Chloe is crawling (army-style) everywhere & pulling herself up- she can sit up by herself now. It seems early to me, but since she’s almost 1 year old… I guess it’s a little late.

We decorated in orange for fall ♥  Pumpkin Spice lattes. Pumpkin Spice Candles. Pumpkins all around. I love it.

We had our annual Harvest Party with our friends. The Worsleys even made an appearance 🙂

James (Worsley) was dressed as Buzz Lightyear so I’m pretty sure he’s Keagan’s best friend now.

Mary brought Shrinky-Dinks for the kids to decorate- that was so fun!

Christine brought cupcakes and TONS of candies for the kids to decorate their cupcakes. Yum.

Christine read a fun pumpkin story and then the kids watched The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown while the adults enjoyed coffee and dessert. ♥  My parents came around 8:30pm that night. My kids were SO excited to see them.  They leave tomorrow 🙁  Maybe we’ll slash their tires so they have to stay a little longer ♥

Oh! I almost forgot!  Kennedy just lost her 1st tooth!! I’m so happy it happened while my parents were here.. what a fun milestone. She was beyond excited. Plus, we just celebrated her birthday and my parents gave her the Jessie doll (from Toy Story). She loves that doll so much- I’m not sure she’ll ever be without it again.  Sorry about the gross picture. It was the only one that wasn’t over-exposed.

One of my VERY favorite families to photograph.
They’re SO fun and SO happy- I just love it!! It was so great hanging out with you guys. ♥

And…another family that I LOVE to photograph…

They LOVE it when James jumps (wrestles/ tackles/ body slams them) on the trampoline.  You can usually hear me in the kitchen saying, “be careful! not too rough. easy. are you okay? what’s happening?”  It’s best if I just stay upstairs and leave them alone 🙂

October 24, 2010 - 2:10 am
