enjoying the process » loving the journey, not just the destination

Today.

A little bit of… driving.  Picking grandma up at the airport.
A little bit of…decorating. Still not finished. Our tree came with broken lights so we’re waiting for a new one.
A little bit of … water damage.  Came home last night to water in front of our fridge. Just want you want at Christmas. New floors.
There’s never a dull moment in my home, but I don’t mind… makes like fun, right?

Our new family photos are already up. This makes me very, very happy!
The water damage on our floors. This does NOT make me very, very happy.

emily - Dena- Are you serious? No- my floors are SO dirty! All the time. They get cleaned every 2 weeks when our dear, sweet Mimi comes to clean them 🙂

jenny - Maybe water damage fits with shabby chic? You could save mucho dinero if you called it a fashion trend. Take it from me. I’m a major trend setter. Almost everything I own or wear will be very popular in about 30 years or so. You’ll see.

My Family.

Thank you Shay & Bethany! It was SO fun to hang out with you guys and THANK YOU SO MUCH- I LOVE our family photos!!!!  ♥   www.shaythomason.com

2 photo sessions this week & then I’m officially finished for this holiday season.  Just look at this family!! Aren’t they beautiful? What a privilege it is to photograph some of the most beautiful families in Los Angeles. Makes my job easy 🙂 They just stand there and look pretty & I snap.  ♥
